Reading a calendar
Look up for the weekday; a column goes up in 7s.
How to do it
Method
Look up for the weekday; a column goes up in 7s
The 3rd is a Tuesday → so is the 10th
Another way
Add
3 + 7 = 10
In full
A calendar has Sunday to Saturday across the top, and each row is one week. To find a date's weekday, find the date, then look up its column. Dates in one column are 7 apart: if the 3rd is a Tuesday, so are the 10th, 17th and 24th. The day after a date is to its right; after Saturday, at the far right, it is at the far left of the next row. Or add and take away: 5 days after the 3rd is the 3 + 5 = 8th.
